 "This is where your pitiful, worthless life ends, worm!" The flames bellowed. Searing heat grew into blue flames before me. Even with eyes clenched shut, I could see the beast draw ever closer. The asphault of the alleyway began to bubble with each step of the demon. I scampered away only to hit the end of the alley. There would be no escape, as in my nightmares. Unfortunately, this was no dream I could wake from. Nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide. What to do then? I'm just some normal kid? Why was this happening to me? What did I do to stir this demon from its slumber? Why did it want me? What made me so special? Why haunt me in my nightmar
